We hope you agree with us, that it goes well together with our main theme – the Good Earthling Challenge, which sole intention is to get each visitor to do something nice for a fellow Earthlings, Mother Nature or animals – basically to make our world a better place.
After all, we’ve all heard of similar sayings before:
“Putting yourself first doesn’t mean you don’t care about others. It means you’re smart enough to know you can’t help others if you don’t help yourself first.”
How to change your life for the better?
We’ve been struggling with that question for a while now. And like you can imagine, there is no simple universal answer to help you all. But there are some guidelines and we’ll share our suggestions with you.
Each and every one of us has many different components that form his/her life. But most of us give a greater significance to the following: our health, our financial situation, our love lives, our family relations, our carers/jobs (relations with coworkers) or our educational process (elementary school, high school, college – relations with classmates and teachers/professors), our friendships and our hobbies (stuff we’re usually passionate about).
How to be happy in life?
The great majority needs health to be even able to think about other stuff, so we can think of it as a foundation for our happiness.
Regarding other previously mentioned components, scientists proved that most of us only need to be satisfied with two of those to be able to say we’re happy. Which of those matters more, of course, depends on each individual.
Good news, right? We don’t need to have everything in order to be happy. We just need to realize, which areas matter to us and focus on those. Easy!
Apparently not, since many studies show, that only around 33 % of the world population is happy. We’re talking about general, everyday happiness. If you are one of those, great, good for you. You’re 100 % ready to help others.
